Garden Index
Mara Saye
2024
Twelve painted zones collect leaves, seeds, stars, and invented specimens into one unstable archive.

Garden Index borrows the order of a botanical chart and lets it fail gently. Repeated leaves and seed forms appear to belong to named families, but scale, color, and placement keep revising the system.
The pale ground carries scratches and small revisions like a working sheet. Dense pink, orange, green, violet, and blue zones hold the eye before smaller marks begin to connect across their borders.
