Rooms Without Walls begins with architectural fragments that never settle into a plan. A saffron plane can be floor, light, or façade; a blue rectangle can be window or distance. The painting keeps these readings open without becoming visually unstable.
Thin pale intervals separate some fields while others overlap directly. That difference gives the work its pace: edges are sometimes exact and sometimes worn back until one color leaks into another.

Studio method
Geometric fields are drawn from a loose paper model, transferred to linen, then revised through scraping and glazing. No masking tape is used; each interval is hand-drawn and retains small variations.
Framing options
Presented in pale ash. Blackened ash or frameless aluminium cleats are available for architectural installations.
Conservation
Maintain a stable environment and avoid touching the matte passages. Surface treatment should be undertaken only by a paintings conservator.
Transport
The work travels face-protected in a custom crate. Two-person handling and professional installation are included within Paris.
