Pale Moon, Loud Garden
Mara Saye
2026
A low pale moon creates a still center inside an indigo garden of citron flowers and coral seed heads.
Acquisition
€16,200

Pale Moon, Loud Garden holds its moon unusually low, leaving a broad field of blue above it. The vegetation gathers from the edges with different degrees of detail, moving between observed structure and invented botanical rhythm.
Indigo leaves carry the weight of the image while citron and coral marks keep the garden optically active. The moon is the only nearly unmodulated form, a quiet pause against the layered surface.
