Weather of Saffron
Iona Vale
2026
Saffron air, a violet horizon, and cobalt water hold a weather system made entirely from color.
Acquisition
€12,400

Weather of Saffron uses the minimum information required for a landscape to appear. A low violet horizon divides the field; above it, saffron moves toward light, while cobalt water carries small rose and green interruptions.
The right edge opens into a pale interval that prevents the horizon from becoming a sealed panorama. The painting is atmospheric without describing any recorded place.
